- Purpose of Role
Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of quality service through maintaining the highest possible standard of cleanliness and hygiene in line with Company policies. You will be required to manage a team, delivering excellent service by supporting, training and developing them to achieve Company and Village goals. You will be expected to manage in the most cost effective manner relevant to your budget. You will be expected to continually look for ways of exceeding the guest’s expectations by implementing new services and systems. You will also be expected to provide opportunities for ‘rewards and recognition’ for your team to ensure your team is well motivated to assist yourself and the company in achieving our goals.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
GUESTS
Improved overall guest satisfaction
• Measurements in applause, QI, and village audits-cleanliness, décor, furniture, utensils, cleanliness of village
• A concerted effort by both yourself and your team ensuring a focus on ‘How do you rate your overall holiday experience’.
• Following up all maintenance issues to ensure they are dealt with swiftly and efficiently providing both a safe and well presented accommodation for our guests
• Close monitoring of accommodation with regular deep cleans in excess of weekly change over cleans to guarantee the best possible levels of cleanliness
TEAM
Improved overall team satisfaction
• Responsible for following HR policies and procedures.
• By providing an atmosphere where the team feels respected and rewarded
• This will be accomplished by rewarding and recognising achievements
• Providing regular appraisals and exit interviews
• Monitoring your teams welfare and if ‘live in’ supporting the team members with regular accommodation inspections and keeping their accommodations in safe working order and in a good state of repair
• All of this will be done to ensure that our team is well equipped and personally motivated to provide exceptional service to our guests. Control of team turnover by establishing good team management practices in line with Human Resources policies and overcome skills gaps through the training function.
COMPANY
Providing both improved qualitative and quantitative results
• Ensuring all necessary Company paperwork is completed in line with policies and procedures.
• Compliance with legislation, i.e. HASAW, COSHH
• Compliance with Company policy and procedure
• Effective and efficient resource control and management
• Ensuring that all supplies are monitored and adhering to all control systems for required inventory and supplies.
• An overall view by the team to provide resort savings in utilities.
• To ensure protection of company property, guest and team property by working in conjunction with Resort Safety.
• High standard of risk control within your village through the active involvement in and encouragement of team members commitment to and participation in, Health and safety activities
CULTURE
• Nurture a problem solving attitude within the team to provide the most effective and self empowered decision making abilities.
• Maintain open lines of communication both between your team and your co-managers and managers.
• Set consistent weekly, monthly and yearly goals shared with ALL team members to guarantee alignment, rewarding and recognising team members that are making a difference.

• Have experience in a similar role
• Have Customer Service experience
• Have supervisory experience
